I write contemporary novels about the female experience. I also write stories (including a few prize winners), essays, reviews, and interviews. I received an honors degree in English from Yale and an MBA from UCLA.

After many years in California and two COVID-dampened years in Florence, Italy, my husband and I are raising our three children and rescue dog in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia. I have also lived in Greece, Uruguay and Rome. I speak fluent Italian, some French, and Italian-flecked Spanish.

In my spare time, I read 100+ books each year, train for half- or full marathons, Wordle every day, and bake sweets, especially anything with chocolate.
